The complete process technology for producing polymer grade ethylene glycol from WHB synthesis gas with completely independent intellectual property rights has obtained 22 Chinese invention patents and passed national level achievement appraisal. The key technology has reached the international leading level. Currently, three sets of industrial synthesis gas (coal) to ethylene glycol plants have been built, with a total annual production capacity of 1 million tons and a strong demand for key catalysts.
